Rize this Friday: No Rize

Read more...So this Friday night, Feb.3, there is no Rize event. Instead we are encouraging everyone to go to the Skate for Jasper. Jasper, a Brook Student and friend of some here at Rize, has been at Children's Hospital for more than a month since they found a tumour in his brain. Treatement is going well. Friday night there is a Fundraiser Skate for Jasper at the complex. Please contact the complex in advance to pre-purchase your $5 ticket.
Rize Youth leaders will not be at the Skate as they are going to a Youth Leadership Training Clinic in Victoria on Friday / Saturday.

I hope you all enjoyed the Christmas Overnighter as much as I did. My voice is almost back. It was so much fun to have so many people together for 12 hours!
Our next event is next year, 2012!
The first Friday in January is Common Grounds. 7pm at the church building where Rize normally meets.
